Dogs may soon be banned from beaches in Cape Town. Residents expressed mixed reactions though, as some feel that it’s totally unfair and the rest are in favour due to past attacks on children & adults, as well as the mess (poo) often left behind. The final decision is pending.
Prankster “Dev dondidit” came up with an awesome idea called the “Warm Blanket Challenge”. Similar idea as the ice bucket challenge, but one has to donate blankets on video and nominate others to do the same. Expect major traffic delays along the alternative routes to and from Camps Bay during this period. Current DA leader Helen Zille announced yesterday that she will be stepping down but still hold her position as Western Cape Premier. Most immediately pointed at Lindiwe Mazibuko as Zille’s successor but she made it clear that she will not be returning from Harvard any time soon.
